Job Description

Assists with or is directly responsible for reporting needs related to quality improvement (i.e., UDS, CQI Committee, PCMH), value-based contracting/health plan incentive programs, and population health management (i.e., patient registries). Performs data analysis to assist in organizational decisions and to identify potential process changes to improve performance or impact measures related to Shared Savings Agreements (SSA). Coordinates activities and reporting needs with the Chief Medical Officer and the Director of Quality/Risk Management/Compliance (Q/RM/C).  Must obtain a fingerprint clearance card and be able to successfully pass a background investigation, if not already obtained. Fingerprint Clearance card application must be submitted within 5 business days of employment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree in a health informatics, business management or related field, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience utilizing Databases /or Electronic Practice Management (EPM) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) system(s) in a healthcare environment.
  • More than ten (10) years of documented experience in database management and data analysis may be considered in lieu of education.
