Job Description

Promotion of health programs through coordinated comprehensive and effective outreach efforts. To service clientele by greeting incoming patients/clients, screening for medical coverage eligibility available through different programs and assisting with the application process, registering patients, and provides information regarding Sunset Community Health Center. Processes applications and obtains patient data; verifies information of all patients’ eligibility for participation Medicaid and Sliding Fee Scale programs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associated Degree (A.A.) from a two-year college in a related field and/or any combination of experience may substitute; 1-3 years experience in front office, customer service, experience in sales, experience in interview techniques, and extensive pubic relations/contact work experience; experience and knowledge of health care programs available through state and federal programs, such as Medicaid/AHCCCS, Kidscare, Premium Sharing and DES; 1-3 years experience/ability to accurately enter data into PC software.
